Hvidovre's slogan is "New angles on the future" and it emphasises that Hvidovre is a municipality in constant development.

Attractively located neighbouring Copenhagen municipality, the capital's cultural offerings are only 10 minutes away by car and 30 minutes by bicycle. Modern Hvidovre reflects the Danish striving for welfare and balance between business and personal life. Hvidovre is home to one of northern Europe's biggest business parks, namely Avedøre Holme, where almost 400 businesses are located. The businesses enjoy a central location in the Øresund region close to the motorways, the Øresund bridge and Copenhagen international airport.
